Recent events
The Klipvoor dam and Moretele River bring a host of waterbirds to the bushveld. African Finfoot is regularly seen along the river, while Grey-headed Kingfisher may be seen in the trees below the Moretele Camp. 130 species in a day is possible in summer. The reserve offers a self-guided trail

Seven 4x4 vehicles are needed for the CAR weekend in our precinct at Chrissiesmeer. You do NOT have to be an experienced birder in order to participate! If you do not have a 4x4 you can accompany others, as each vehicle needs a minimum of 2 people per car.
