Good Luck with Birding Big Day 2009

I hope you all remember the underlying purpose of Birding Big Day.... to raise funds for BLSA and SAPAB2

This year, 50% of all funds raised during Birding Big Day will go towards BirdLife South Africa’s Bustard Working Group and the Southern African Bird Atlas Project 2 (to help fund the many important aspects of atlasing namely getting to those far out places), ensuring that your participation makes a positive difference to bird conservation in South Africa.

Have an enjoyable day

Remember to get your sponsorships filled in. I was amazed at the great response I got from my friends this year. Truly generous and encouraging. To me it means that the Birdlife SA name is becoming a household name, even to my non-birding friends.

Set yourselves a target an go out and sell your sponsorships. (Aim high)
