Cheque Fraud - please note

It has come to our attention that there is ongoing interception (at least 4 incidents countrywide) of cheques being sent to BLSA for payment of member subscription/s.

Members please refrain from sending cheques in the post, rather pay directly into the BLSA bank account via internet transfer or at the bank itself.

It is also important for members to advise either name or membership number as reference.

THE SAME RULES WILL APPLY TO PAYMENTS MADE TO THE WITWATERSRAND BIRD CLUB

OUR PREFERRED METHOD IS VIA ELECTRONIC TRANSFER
